On a quest to pack many lives into one, Juanita Benedicto has worked in the streams of Northern California restoring salmon to their spawning grounds. She has run the dirt roads of rural Missouri often picking up stray dogs as traveling companions. She completed a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a Master’s in Library & Information Science at the University of Missouri. She spent four years with nuns in Central Mexico to educate girls, build a library, and introduce battered women back to their bodies. She served at a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Retreat Center for two years, living off the grid in a cabin in the Redwood Forest studying Buddhist philosophy and admiring the many forest animals that congregated near her cabin. Throughout these experiences, she studied tarot and astrology knowing that one day, she would follow this, her passion, full time.

Originally from Southern California, today she lives in the picturesque town of San Miguel de Allende located in the Colonial Highlands of Central Mexico. She works full-time as a consulting astrologer, writes a bi-monthly newsletter, runs a local astrology meet-up, offers classes and mentorships. She is a member of OPA, The Organization of Professional Astrology and ISAR, International Society for Astrological Research. When she’s not pouring over natal charts and tarot spreads, she can be found exploring the great outdoors with her rescue dog, a Red Heeler named Yara.

This is just so good. I am loving the personification of planets and the marvelous and truly insightful and thought-provoking illustrations of the aspect energies. Your contributions are so creative, playful and accessible; they are immensely valuable. Every time I read one, I am invited into, and I delightfully accept, a journey of introspection, contemplation, and breakthrough. I am so grateful.
